The Indian Territory and TIPNIS means Isiboro Secure, the name
derived from the extensive estate of forest and savannah (over a million acres) located
between the plains of Beni and Cochabamba sub-Andean mountain ranges. TCO is an area and
protected at the same time, derived from the duality condition TCO (Earth Community
origin), achieved after the indigenous march 1990, which keeps the status of Park
Given by the State National 1965. Its management is ascribed both to SERNAP as the
Indigenous TIPNIS substation, under the management of shared responsibility.
TIPNIS The importance of both cultural and ecological values, it becomes more

Multinational State.
